Volunteers needed

31/10/2011
The development of the Alert system across the City and County is very modern and up-to-date. It provides an effective way of letting local communities know what is happening in their particular community in regard to crime and anti-social behavior. But we need volunteers to work with us, (Neighbourhood Watch) in collaboration with the Police, to send out information electronically. There are 20 designated community systems across the City and others in the County. Training in sending out messages etc. is available to suitable volunteers of any age. So, if you are retired and looking for an interest, or someone who is perhaps looking to gain unpaid experience for a year or so, please contact us by email at: admin@neighbourhoodwatchcouncil.co.uk giving your name, a short explanation of who you are and why you wish to be considered and, if possible, a contact telephone number. David Rhodes, Chairman, CNNWC.
